SECTION 02Tripartite MoU

Acceptance of Terms & Tripartite Binding Effect

Clause Intent: Legally binding tripartite agreement governing student, faculty, cafeteria staff, and platform operations.

2.1. By accessing, browsing, creating an account on, or placing a transaction through the FoodLine Campus Platform, the User unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any campus-specific dining policies displayed at checkout.

2.2. Operating Entity & Intermediary Status: FoodLine Campus is operated by FoodLine Campus LLP (pending formal MCA registration). FoodLine is a technology intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and is not a food business operator (FBO). FoodLine operates under an institutional Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) executed between Sanjivani University Administration, the Student Welfare Committee, and Cafe @7 Cafeteria Management. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue using the Platform immediately.

2.3. These Terms apply to all Users, Staff Users, and Cafeteria Partners, with specialized operational and fiduciary duties set forth in Sections 12 and 13.

2.4. Continued use of the Platform after any published revision constitutes full legal acceptance of the updated Terms (see Section 23).

SECTION 0316+ Campus Scope

Eligibility, Age Limits & Account Registration

Clause Intent: Requirements for campus student PRN, institutional Google SSO, age thresholds, and credential protection.

3.1. Age Threshold: The Platform is intended for individuals affiliated with a partnered campus who are at least 16 years of age. Where a User is a minor under Indian law, use must occur with parental or legal guardian consent or as authorized by university admission policies.

3.2. Account Information: Account creation requires accurate, verifiable credentials including: full name, verified mobile phone number, student PRN (Permanent Registration Number), and institutional email address (e.g. @sanjivani.edu.in).

3.3. Credential Secrecy: Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their session tokens, passwords, and 4-digit pickup OTPs. Any transaction originating from an authenticated student session is legally presumed authorized by that student.

3.4. Anti-Impersonation: Attempting to register or order using another peer's PRN or student credentials constitutes electronic misrepresentation under Section 66D of the IT Act 2000 and will be referred to the Sanjivani University Disciplinary Council.

3.5. FoodLine reserves the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that supply forged registration data or violate institutional codes of conduct.

SECTION 04Technology Rail

Nature of the Service (Technology Platform vs. Food Provider)

Clause Intent: FoodLine is a technology coordinator and slot-metering rail. Cafe @7 is solely responsible for food preparation and FSSAI compliance.
Sole Food Preparation Responsibility

4.1. FoodLine is an independent technology platform that enables slot-metered pre-ordering. FoodLine does not prepare, cook, package, or sell food.

4.2. Cafe @7 (the Cafeteria Partner) is solely responsible for kitchen hygiene, food temperature, raw ingredient sourcing, culinary fulfillment, and statutory compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSSAI).

4.3. FoodLine's scope is strictly limited to: presenting the live menu as supplied by the Cafeteria Partner, managing 60-order slot throttling capacity, verifying 12-digit UTR payment references, and streaming real-time status updates via Server-Sent Events (SSE).

4.4. Nothing in these Terms creates an employer-employee, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between FoodLine and Cafe @7.

SECTION 050% Surcharge Parity

Ordering, Menu Pricing & Real-Time Availability

Clause Intent: Strict zero-markup pricing matching counter chalkboard rates. Real-time stockout handling and order acceptance.

5.1. Zero-Surge Guarantee & Transparent Platform Fee: All menu item prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes and 100% identical to the physical chalkboard rates at Cafe @7 with zero food markup. FoodLine charges a transparent 4% platform commission on orders to cover software operations, cloud infrastructure, and technology maintenance. FoodLine levies β‚Ή0 surge charges.

5.2. Real-Time Stockout Depletion: If an ordered dish becomes unavailable before checkout is completed, the platform alerts the user immediately and automatically re-balances the cart total.

5.3. Pricing Corrections: If an inadvertent pricing error occurs prior to preparation, the student will be notified and provided the option to accept the corrected price or receive a 100% immediate UPI refund.

5.4. Order Acceptance Threshold: An order is deemed accepted by Cafe @7 only upon successfully transitioning to CONFIRMED or PREPARING status. Payment submission alone does not guarantee ingredient stock availability.

5.5. Dietary Badges: Vegetarian, Jain, and allergen indicators are provided in good faith based on Cafeteria Partner declarations. Patrons with severe medical allergies must confirm directly with kitchen chefs (see Section 10).

SECTION 06Kitchen Rush SLA

Pickup Slots & 60-Order Capacity Throttling

Clause Intent: 15-minute express pickup windows capped at 60 orders per slot to eliminate physical queues and preserve food heat.

6.1. To prevent crowding and guarantee sub-45-second counter pickups, FoodLine meters break periods into 60-Order Hard-Capped Slots:

11:50 AM β€” 12:10 PM Slot (Morning Recess)
Morning Break Rush β€’ Capped strictly at 60 Orders β€’ Pre-orders lock 10 minutes prior to batch start.
02:30 PM β€” 02:50 PM Slot (Afternoon Break)
Afternoon Break Rush β€’ Capped strictly at 60 Orders β€’ Synchronized kitchen batch cooking.

6.2. 7-Minute Reservation Hold: When checkout initiates, your slot capacity is held for 7 minutes. If UTR submission is not completed within this hold, the slot releases back to the student pool automatically.

6.3. Collection Responsibility: Students are required to arrive at Cafe @7 Counter #2 within their booked slot window. Orders unclaimed after the slot window enter the 20-minute thermal grace holding protocol (Section 9.2).

6.4. Slot timings and capacity limits may be recalibrated dynamically to align with university exam timetables, symposiums, or academic calendar shifts.

SECTION 07RBI Option C Model

Payments (Option C Direct UPI & 12-Digit Bank UTR Verification)

Clause Intent: Direct peer-to-merchant UPI transfer to Cafe @7 VPA (9960091371@slc). Cryptographic anti-replay UTR verification and fraud shields.
Direct Merchant Settlement VPA9960091371@slc

7.1. 100% of order funds flow directly from your banking application to Cafe @7 proprietor under the Option C Direct Merchant Settlement Architecture (RBI Payment Aggregator Framework). FoodLine holds zero escrow funds.

7.2. Reference Verification Protocol: Students scan the dynamic QR, transfer the exact bill amount, and submit the authentic 12-digit UTR generated by their banking app. Our backend validates UTR regex format and checks uniqueness to prevent duplicate claims.

7.3. Anti-Replay & Fraud Shield: Entering arbitrary, altered, expired, or recycled UTR numbers constitutes criminal electronic deception under Section 66D of the IT Act 2000. Forged submissions trigger immediate order cancellation, PRN blacklisting, and referral to university authorities.

7.4. Pending Manual Review: If an entered UTR exhibits a bank latency delay or amount mismatch, the order transitions to PENDING_MANUAL_REVIEW. Counter leads verify the transaction against the physical soundbox announcement or statement before tray release.

7.5. Future Gateway Clause: FoodLine reserves the right to introduce automated UPI Intent/Collect payment gateway rails (e.g. Razorpay), which will supersede manual UTR entry while maintaining transparent 4% platform fees.

7.6. Users must retain their bank debit SMS or UPI transaction screenshot until their meal is collected.

SECTION 08Sub-45s Pickup Handover

Order Status Tracking, 4-Digit Pickup OTP & Handover

Clause Intent: Real-time Server-Sent Events status progression, 4-digit numeric OTP, optical QR pass, and peer proxy delegation.

8.1. Live SSE Telemetry: Order progress transitions in real time across 5 defined operational milestones: PLACED β†’ PENDING_MANUAL_REVIEW β†’ PREPARING β†’ READY β†’ COLLECTED.

8.2. Pickup Verification Credentials: Every confirmed order generates a unique 4-digit numeric OTP and an optical QR pass. Present either to cafeteria staff at Counter #2 for validation on the Kitchen KDS tablet.

8.3. Peer Proxy Delegation: If detained in an exam, lab practical, or lecture, students may delegate pickup to a trusted peer by sharing the 4-digit OTP. The platform and cafeteria are not liable for food collected by unauthorized individuals who obtained the OTP through student negligence.

8.4. Finality of Fulfillment: Once validated on the KDS and transitioned to COLLECTED, the order is deemed conclusively fulfilled and cannot be cancelled, re-ordered, or refunded under the same token.

SECTION 09100% Refund Guarantee

Clause Intent: Full refunds on pre-cooking cancellation or kitchen stockouts within 15 minutes. 20-minute thermal holding grace period.

No-Show SLA
9.2. Orders are held in insulated thermal heating lanes (>65Β°C) for a 20-minute grace period past the slot window. Perishable food unclaimed after 20 minutes is safely discarded per FSSAI hygiene codes without refund.
Kitchen Stockout
9.3. If Cafe @7 cannot fulfill an order due to ingredient depletion or emergency kitchen closure, an automated 100% Direct UPI Refund (including the 4% platform fee) is executed within 15 minutes to the originating VPA.

9.4. Refund Routing: All refunds are routed directly back to the original UPI bank account used to pay. FoodLine maintains zero proprietary wallets or store credits.

9.5. Dispute Window: Any payment discrepancy or refund dispute must be submitted within 7 days of order date via foodlinecampus07@gmail.com accompanied by bank debit proof.

Clause Intent: Operational standards for cafeteria staff using the KDS tablet. Prohibition on premature status updates and OTP leaks.

12.1. Authorized Operational Use: Access to the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and Staff Admin Dashboard is restricted to certified Cafe @7 personnel for live order queuing, stockout toggles, and payment verification.

12.2. Integrity of Status Progression: Staff Users must never transition an order to READY or COLLECTED without physically cooking the food and validating the customer's 4-digit OTP on the KDS terminal.

12.3. OTP & Data Protection: Staff Users must not disclose student pickup codes or order histories to unauthorized third parties and must operate under isolated cafeteria credentials.
